20 years ago Juliet Davenport wanted to do something that would have real and lasting value to our planet.

She believed everyone had the right to clean, green energy to power their homes and businesses. That all of our futures depended on it. So, she did something revolutionary.

She built a company whose sole purpose was to power the choice of a cleaner, greener future for everyone.

She believed that businesses could lead the way. And that if people were offered an alternative to the fossil fuels that were killing our planet, they would take it.

And they did. Over 259,000 homes and businesses have chosen our green power. Supplied by 1,400 different locations - from a single home solar panels to wind farms.

But that's not enough.

In 2020 we're transforming the service we offer our customers so we can help more people choose a cleaner, greener future together. Because everyone has the right to power their homes and businesses without risking the earth. All of our futures depend on it.

To do this, we need your help. Will you join our fight?
As a Renewables Originator you’ll be proactive in your approach to the Business development of Good Energy’s PPA Generators. Through excellent communication, you’ll thrive when building and maintaining relationships with Generators, Brokers, Consultants and other Suppliers, as well as attending external meetings and events to promote our PPA products and services. You’ll be customer orientated and experienced in fielding and prioritising a variety of generation queries. You’ll be confident when negotiating prices and contracts with generators and stakeholders, finding a mutual benefit for both Good Energy and the customer.

In the role, you’ll be responsible for processing PPA quotes and estimates, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in relation to contracts and portfolio management, as well as analysis of generation data. You’ll provide high level insight reporting on commercial generation, communicating this with relevant stakeholders to support the business. You’ll also be responsible for assisting and enabling implementation of new generators through the Grid-Connection and Meter installation process. You’ll support and deliver Ad Hoc projects when required as well as, assisting the Trading team with Ad Hoc tasks, as they arise.
We’re looking for a confident communicator, who has previous experience working in renewables, and keeps the customer at the heart of everything they do, committed to delivering excellent service. With a flexible approach to work you’ll attend external meetings and events whilst also taking ownership and managing own workload.

With a keen eye for detail, you’ll understand the importance of prioritising, and using logic to make decisions. With outstanding negotiation and influencing skills, you’ll have experience of contractual negotiation as well as experience of managing a portfolio.
